A Beautiful Disaster was conceived by Artist Julia Snowdin to comment
on the 1.6 million people in the UK who suffer from eating disorders

the emotional and psychological impact of having an eating disorder and the
winding layers of the spirals allude to the secrecy vulnerability and fragility

The nine Artists have been chosen based on their individual and playful
approach to the theme. Book

of cut folded and distorted books which encourages the audience to read between

<title>The Collection Press release</title>
<link>http://www.artinmacclesfield.co.uk/page24.htm#114518</link>
<description>Marburae Gallery will be holding the most playful photography
exhibitions in Cheshire to date showcasing for the first time site specific
3D photography by Sam Paechter.

Sam replaces objects with large 3D photographs which have been distorted to
give a strong impression that the object is really there creating a
fascinating and powerful interplay between the real world and illusion.
Visitors will have the chance to experience Sams work at its best with
playful 3D images situated around the gallery space.

The collection presents the work of 11 photographers many of which have
featured in magazines and are developing a cult following one Davide Maione
even being published in the Catlin Guide for emerging talent. All 11
examine the world around them and capture its beauty or tease their audience
with obvious flair.

Taken from Charlie Davies work The Collector the title makes reference to the
installations that will make the exhibition. The Collection is not a series...</description>
